Lots of stuff!!

Hey all! I know I haven't posted in a while so I have a lot to say :D First, drumming is going well. I am learning lots of new beats and having a blast. Oh, and as a ad-on to the drumming subject me, along with my sisters and my best friend formed a band! It is called "The Impact" and we are starting to sound really good and also, we are playing at a concert soon where we will be playing Awake and Alive by Skillet. I am practicing like mad on drums and vocals. (I am singing half of the song) I am really excited but I do not know if it is excitement of nervousness ;)

Off that subject of that I went to Myrtle Beach for March break and met up with some family there, which is always fun and we did lots of stuff there including: Mini Golfing, shopping, and lots of other fun things. It was a blast and I would LOVE you go back there again.

Next topic: Photography!

My photography is going well, and I have lots of new pics! I will have a new post about that soon.

Now about our animals, this is the hard part. I have have lots of good things happening but lots of bad things as well....

Our dog, Samson unexpectedly had a type of cancer. We took him to the hospital and we could not do anything. Seeing him in so much pain and suffering was hard and we made the crushing decision of putting him down. It was unexpected as well, because he was only 9.

I'm not done about the dogs. Out 2nd dog Meme, had a lung cancer problem. One second she was he lovely self then the next, she was lying on the ground pooping out blood and not being able to move. She also sadly passed away.

For the first time in my life I do not have a dog....which is hard.

On the bright side we are going to get a new dog shortly. Probably in the next 4 weeks! I am so excited :)

So ya, that's most of what I have to say, but first I want to wish a happy birthday to my friend Megan. Thank you for being your wonderful self. I miss you incredibly and I look forward to your next visit.

Thanks for reading!

Pictures

Wow.
Just wow.
I really need to update. Seriously.

I think i'll get you up to speed by telling you what I have been doing lately. One of the things is school but I think you don't need to know about that. That would be weird. If I stop right here then that would be to short of a blog so I'll tell you about something else I've been doing. Photography. Sense I live on a HUGE farm with no city in 20 mile radius I have a lot of nature around me; deer, wild flowers, sunrises, sunsets, stars and so on. There's a ton to take pictures of. Another thing that makes me more excited to do it is love doing it. You will always be better at something if you like (or love) what your doing :)

You probably don't want me to describe the pictures I took so I will just show you.

Dewdrops on a leaf :)

So those are some of my pictures! I really hope you enjoyed them and please comment and tell me if you liked them :)

Lots off stuf

Wow.
I just looked and realized I haven't blogged in a while.

First I noticed I hadn't finished talking about the water parks I went to in Florida.
On my last blog I talked about Discovery Cove which was the dolphin experience now, this is the park that has the rides!

The place is called Aquatica along with Discovery Cove it's part of Sea World, but I have never been to Sea World so I have no idea if they are like each other at all anyway, back to Aquatica.
My Dad rented a part of a place that has beach chairs, in the shade and is close to my favorite ride there :D. Thank goodness it was in the shade that day was one of the hottest days while we were in Florida.

The first ride we went on was a family ride where there is a tube raft that we all went in and the tube you went in on the raft had lots of turns and was so fast ( it was A-W-E-S-O-M-E ). The next one was a tube raft one put this one the tube you were in the top was open so you could see below. And I mean below below this one was a high drop for a raft ride it wasn't straight down because that would be WAY too dangerous but it went down fast and then there was a slope then down again ( wicked ). This one was my favorite, you walk up a bunch of stairs and get a water mat thingy then a voice from the speakers says "Three, two, one and they're off!" then you kick off with your feet and the water carries you through a tube that just turns you for a while. Then there's a light up ahead your mat comes closer and if you look down you'll see about a 30 ish 40 ish foot drop and you go down real fast until you slide to the bottom. Another ride was kind of lazy river I guess but, it was fast and there were rapids and places were there was little geysers of water going out through the water that would burst you ahead.

This one was cool. You go down a tube and twist and turn and then go under water (the tube has air in side so you're safe :) and then you see dolphins swimming around you! It is so cool.

There were more rides but I would like to end it here.

Thanks for reading!

Discovery Cove part 2

Hi everybody. This is Discovery Cove part 2. This blog will probably be short but I should do it so I can wrap up Discovery Cove on my blog.

So, last time I told you about the dolphins there but, that's not everything there was! Along with the dolphins there were manta rays, a lazy river, a big built cave, exotic birds and other stuff. First, the manta rays!

Have you ever touched a wet, smooth, soft rubber ball with eyes? Didn't think so. If you have that's what they felt like. You went into this big pool made to look like a coral reef and stuff also, there were different kinds of fish along with the manta rays. They felt really cool and went RIGHT under you.

The lazy river was HUGE not wide huge but long huge. I would just float there (theres a trick to that) and look at the birds flying over my head! Also, there were some fake ruins underneath you that you could look and walk on!

So that's really all I have to say!

Hope you are liking my Florida posts.

Discovery Cove part 1

Hey! This is the first post of all the posts about Florida and, like I said in the last post this is not day one of my trip but, this day was real cool so that's why this one is first.

So, this is an explanation of Discovery Cove. Discovery Cove is a place that is mostly a dolphin interaction sorta place but it doesn't only have them, it also has a coral reef place with different fish and manta rays. Across from that, there's a lazy river and in the middle it has has birds swooping over your head and fake ancient ruins under you :D Also, it is partly attached to Sea World. I can't tell you all of it to you today because my mom is kinda in charge of what I blog about and she said I should just do the Dolphin part today.

Ok, so we got up from our condo ( it's a really big place with three balconies, a kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms, one bed room that had two twin beds, one bedroom that had a Queen bed and one that had a King bed) at about 7:OO a.m ish and got to Discovery Cove at about 8:OO. The package that we got for Discovery Cove came with a pass to Aquatica, lunch and breakfast buffet and never ending snack supply! So after we got there we had our breakfast and went to swim with the rays ( i'll talk about that in part 2 ). Before we did that we needed to get special life jackets on that kept us warm because the dolphin and manta ray pools were 75f or something like that. Along with those we got a snorkel and mask. After we went in there we went in the lazy river\bird place and then the dolphin area.

We went to nice sized building that had a grass covering the roof so it looked like a grass roof :) I am not sure what theme they were going for..... Anyways, there was a three minute movie followed by instructions like: "Please don't scratch the dolphin because dolphins that's the way they show their emotions to each other" and "When you have your dolphin ride don't kick your legs you might hit the dolphin" and some other rules. After that, we were off. We stopped at a REALLY big pool with other groups of people with dolphins we got into waist high ( for me, I am 5 ish feet) water and the instructor asked us all to call Copper! And so we did a dolphin came swimming over real fast and then, the instructor introduced Copper and herself ( Copper was SO cute!) then, gave us a a motion to do that looked like waving in sign language to do. A little after we did that Copper jumped and waved with her fin! After then sh
e told the dolphin something and the dolphin started going in large circles and so all of the group could feel and look at her. This may sound weird well, I am reading it over and it does but she felt like a really smooth rubber ball. After she explained a little about dolphins and took questions she asked, "now, who wants to kiss a dolphin?" My sisters and I raised our hands first. I went second and gave her a little one. Later after every one did it Copper went of and another dolphin named Cindy came then, the instructor explained more about them. Then a different older looking dolphin named Lester came and ( this was really fun) we went into deeper water and she said we would take rides on him! I went first this time.I held on to the the dolphin's top fin and then the dolphin pulled all of us one at a time to the end, now that was fun! After the rides on Lester she said for us the make a karate chop but don't hit she water, we did and Lester did a jump and while he jumped went back then dived into the water.

Here's a picture of me and Lester!

It was a REALLY great day!

Ok, gotta go!
